The Winds of Change!

Well today marks a momentus occasion... well not really. My only news to report is that I've finally finished reading Passages by Gail Sheehy (took me a damn long time too). If you ever want to learn about the very predictable human crisis patterns (including midlife crisis's) from the years 20 to 50 then I reccommend you read the above mentioned book. It makes me wonder if what i'm doing right now is really just a meaningless venture. If all the knowledge, morals, and forged pathways i'm to make are really going to be regretted, taken back and completely revamped later in life, then simply, whats the point? Well I guess life has to have some rhyme and reason; we can't really all become masters on the route to personal growth because we'd just become bored with the that level of mastery an continue our everlasting search for "more". It's just a good book if you want some food for thought, and you older people out their will probaly find it more diconcerning then I do because your probaly one of "those" who fits snuggly into a category of human development.

On an entirely unrelated note I would like to point out that finally, for the first time in countless games, I won at Settlers of Catan. I'm going to say it's because I finally put a settlement on an 8 (6 just doesn't role). Well it's mostly because Gabe and Jenn completley blocked each other off from everything, but Jenn almost won so they didn't do to badly. I now feel the need to post a link to Mayfair Games. They have so many damn games/expansions/novelties that I can't help myself. Hell they even have a starfarer edition placed centuries into the future. I think I'm going to put this into my favourite links, just because if everyone has the game... well then I won't ever need to buy one... isn't freeloading fun?
